Amazing! I absolutely loved it! Ever since I became familiar with the anime, I couldn't help but try and analyze some of the characters. It must be the shrink in me ^^. Anywho, Gaara and Kakashi have always been my favorites, with Itachi being a close second; that boy really got me stump with the whole kill the Clan thing. Not many authors go in too deep and I love it when I come across stories where they do. Like yours! Becoming a Chunnin and AMBU so young must of done some serious damage to Kakashi. Your stab at that damage (no pun intended) made this story my favorite. And of course, you couldn't have done a better transition from what he was, a social-enempt individual, to somone who is trying to reach out but is still awkward with his dealings with others.

Phenomenal. Every thing in this story is Just Right, from the details of the scenery to the characters' thoughts. The “Then” and “Long Ago” scenes were thoughtful and poignant. This is one story I won’t be forgetting long before forever.

The ending is beautiful. I can't tell you how much a truly enjoyed reading this. Although i have to say that last 'then' was awfully sad. Knowing how many of those people are alive. At least Kakashi now has Iruka. I loved that camping games, makes me want to play them with my friends. I kind of wish that this story never ended, and i could just keep on reading it forever or something like that. But i suppose everything has an ending. Either way this review seems to be getting a little too long and i should be sleeping as it is 530am now and I’ve been reading this all night. A sign of how much i enjoyed this...^_^ I hope you feel the inspiration to write more wonderful muti-chapter kakashi/iruka fics. i enjoy them so.

I love your Kakashi. He's acting like my brother-in-law on a bad day. I swear whenever we are over my sisters house he acts like that practically follows you around with a dustpan and broom, picking up everything like he's gone half mad. Iruka will help but he’s going to make Kakashi do it. Well he is a teacher. At least he’s going to go to his dinner party. I like that Iruka asked Genma to tea, not sure if it was this chapter but I liked it anyways.

I so want to know what happened with Iruka and Mizuki after the sake...and the tree. If Mizuki was such a slut why did he brag about it to everyone. On another thing, Kakashi is really adorable in this chapter. I really have enjoyed it.

god kakashi is so awkward that he is both cute and psycho. I wonder why Iruka doesn't want to be more then friends. So Kakashi has never done anything...with anyone...*smiles* It's a good think Iruka is a teacher, ne?

Okay I don't normally review, but this is the best Kaka/Iru story I’ve read. The character development and storyline were great.
