Itachi's intentions for he and Sasuke can be well taken. But, I think it costed him more than his eyesight. Do you think he knows that? Does he regret it? No one can look past his eyes and into his soul. He's a lonely man, I can tell from the story. Very nice work.

-- niveaus : Thank you so much! Well, I wrote this before Shippuden got as far as the eyesight thing (haven't read the manga), and just wanted to try and find more reason for Itachi's actions, so if it did that, I'm happy! If this was his reason, then I think he's pretty determined, and won't regret it. Thanks again for the review!

This was amazing, I really, really liked it. I like the fact its Itachi's POV for once.
Author's Response: Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. I'm probably going to write more Itachi POV in the near future - I like his POV too! Seems like his thoughts must be a lot more interesting than many of them...

That was a wonderful, wonderful story. I don't necessarily agree with Itachi's philosophy, but I like reading about it!
Author's Response: Thank you!!! That's really kind of you! I don't agree with Itachi's philosophy either, but I like to imagine that he at least has some justification beyond 'measuring my container' ;). Anyway, I'm really happy that you liked it! Thanks for reviewing.

this is really good. i hope you write more unless this is a single chapter story. ^-^ 10/10
Author's Response: Thanks! It was going to be a one-shot, just an idea which came to me, but I might base a longer story on it later... I'm starting to find Itachi very interesting.
