Summary: What if Naruto was to accidently kill Sakura, and decided to give up being a ninja. After he leave the village the Kyuubi offers one time deal to change him into a fox. Naruto was transformed into a fox but on the third day of being a fox he trapt and put on sale. He is purchased by the Hyuuga clan to help Hinata get over Naruto.

Summary: Write a multi-chaptered fic (at least five chapters but no more than thirty) where either Itachi or Sasuke is trying to kill you (reader-insert) and the other brother has to keep you alive (for his own selfish reason). Try not to go overboard, but come up with a good reason as to why either would want you dead/alive. No pregnancies, no all out romance (unless it's well developed and doesn't take over the story), no yaoi, and email me when you've started/finished.
Bonus points if you can avoid making the reader a Mary-Sue.

Summary: First off, I'll explain what a joint story actually is. A joint story is when the writer comes up with the idea but allows members to submit their own original characters in a review or through contact. Then the author places the OC into the story, writing the fanfic with all of the accumulated OCs.
The author can choose how many characters they want in the story, any specific requirements in creating an OC, etc, etc.
The challenging part is writing about characters that aren't yours and getting their personalities right. Also, creating a story out of a bunch of random characters is a difficult task all on its own.

Summary: Well, basically the challenge is this:
Naruto and friends defeat go toe to toe the Akatsuki and save the world.
Simple enough idea right? There should be tonnes like this to steal from... Wrong.
I have scoured the entire internet and the onlt thing remotely like this that I have found is the Manga itself.
In this challenge, Naruto (and/or others) are a lot more powerful than their canon counterparts and can basically go toe to toe with the Akatsuki and make it so that the outcome can tilt either way.
Requirements:
Decent fight scenes
One or more of the rookie nine (including Team Gai and Suna) with sannin level power.
Akatsuki only killed by said 15 characters
Anything else is up to you.
Shonen-ai, and Character Bashings are disouraged, but allowed.

Summary: I'd like to read a good story about Kyuubi becoming released from Naruto but he is a cute little fox pup. He still has his mass amount of chakra but he can't access it because of a collar or something that is controlled by Naruto. Naruto however is able to access Kyuubi's power. I want the story to go on about how Naruto and Kyuubi eventually bond or something and they battle Sasuke or someone powerful.

Summary: At the heart of a war-ravaged Otagakure, where a battle for the rebels of Sound ensues, are the nin of Konoha. And among them are the Fire Country's finest of warriors - the now full-grown Rookie 9 and Team Gai. It is their way of the ninja to fight in the name of all that is good and right, but as Lee is haunted by visions of one blue-eyed Sound-nin, he begins to see that war deserves no glorification - it's all so wrong.
1. A Lee-centric story. Gai will be the next major character, as the tale should dabble in the likeness of their father-son relationship, as well the way in which Lee is losing faith in the 'power of youth' and killing for the sake of killing.
2. The war is between Orochimaru, his sound subordinates and the ninja of Konoha, who fight alongside the Fuuma Clan (a group of people who intend to regain their freedom from Orochimaru). I want this war to be very dark and very real. This'll be a serious, angst-filled fic, intended for an eventual character death.
3. The choice to use the idea as a one-shot or series fic is entirely up to you.
4. Pairings may be included, but strictly as back-story. No Lee x Gai.

Summary: I was wondering if I could see a fanfic where certain characters were secretly these characters from the game: Amaterasu/Shiranui (same character), Tsukoyomi, Susanoo, Oki, Ninetails, Yami, Waka, Orochi, and maybe the Satomi Warriors. The people I have already picked are Naruto-Amaterasu, Yondaime-Tsukoyomi, Itachi-Susanoo, and Madara-Oki. The story is that these people are undercover as their aliases as depicted in the anime/manga but are really special ANBU forces created by the Shodaime and Nidaime to protect Konoha & its allies from enemies and itself. The characters are not the gods but chosen reincarnations of the gods. Also, Shiranui is Naruto's second form in this one. They can transform to their divine/demonic counterparts. The nine bijuu are guides for each of the characters (thus why there are nine characters) but Naruto has one for each form: Amaterasu & Shiranui. Near the end where Pain attacks the village, Naruto and the others blow their covers and take him down. Sasuke can not be one the chosen, Sakura neither. OCs are allowed. Kakashi can be one. Also, if you pick a character that dies supposedly around that time, they don't die because, well, they're gods.
