“Over here, Sasuke-kun, please, sit right here.” a gentle woman’s voice said as she guided the person dubbed Sasuke to a seat, helping him sit.
Sasuke was dressed in a white robe, and was looking down. He didn’t even look up as the person across from him began to speak.
“So how are we today, Sasuke-kun?”
No response.
The man stared patiently, pushing his glasses up on the bridge of his nose. “Have you been feeling any better?”
No response.
“Do you like your new room?”
No response.
“What are you thinking about?”
No response.
“Are you thinking about that house?”
Blink.
“Are you thinking about your family?”
No response.
“Are you thinking of… Naruto?”
Only then did the boy named Sasuke look up, revealing his pale, sullen face. Though he didn’t say a word, only nodded. He nodded so slow that a snail under water could have nodded faster.
The man sighed softly, though he was still patient. Ever so patient. You have to be patient with patients. “Then tell me... again... What exactly happened two years ago, Sasuke-kun? Where is Naruto?”
