"Gah!! How much longer do we have to wait, Kakashi-sensei!?" The blonde genin, Naruto Uzumaki asked. They had been assigned a mission to met a Cloud-nin halfway to their journey to the Leaf village, being transferred. The single genin had lost her whole team, including her sensei, in an avalanche to deliver something to a man who lived on the snow covered mountain. She some how managed to survive the extreme cold.
“Just a bit longer Naruto. She should be here any minute…” Kakashi answered, not even bothering to look up from his orange book. Naruto groaned and plopped on to the ground, sitting with his arms crossed and pouting. Sakura was also tired of waiting, but didn’t want to complain in front of her crush, Sasuke Uchiha. Speaking of the young Uchiha, he was leaning coolly against a tree with his normal, I-don’t-care-about-anything, look on his face. Sakura could help but to sigh as she
“Ka-Kakashi-sensei…. Why did it get so cold all the sudden??” Naruto asked through his chattering teeth. Closing his book and putting it away in his back pocket, he lazy glanced down the path.
“I believe our client is here now.” Was all the silver haired Jounin said. All three genin looked down to follow Kakashi’s gaze and saw a figure running toward them with to other figures following. At the sight of the pursuers, Naruto hopped to his feet and like Sakura and Sasuke did, pulled out a Kunai. The three leaf-nins were about to go help when Kakashi out stretched his arm so it would stop the raven haired boy from charging and the other two from following.
“Just wait and watch.” He said. Sakura looked unsure but put away her weapons while Sasuke just sighed and crossed his arms and Naruto stood there doing nothing. As the figures approached, a girl with white and light blue tipped haired girl appeared with two masked men in black following. All the sudden the girl turned around, her pale blue eyes glancing at Team 7 for a second, before her back was turned to them. All of the sudden ice incased the two men that were chasing her.
“Whoa…” Was the only noise that came from the Team, Sakura and Sasuke too surprised to say anything and Kakashi feeling like he didn’t need to say anything. The girl turned around to face them with a small grin and waved at them as she jogged up to them. She was wearing a plain black t-shirt, to black wrist bands, light gray shorts that nearly went past her knee caps with black and red striped knee high socks that were cut off at the toes. Two silver rings jingled against each other as she ran, them hanging from around a small, silver chain around her neck.
“Sorry that I am late! Those baka’s kept attacking me.” She said rather cheerfully with a goofy grin on her face.
“No problem. I am Kakashi Hatake, and this is my team, Sakura Hanuro(sp?), Naruto Uzumaki, and Sasuke Uchiha.” Kakashi said, pointing to each of the genin as he said their names.
“Nice to meet you!” She said, bowing. When she was standing straight again, she said, “My name is Yuki Kokoro. (Yuki= Snow. Kokoro= Spirit) Now lets hurry and go.”
