Oh wow. I know you said this would be shorter, but still, it surprises me Makita is already being turned back. I was waiting for her to be sent off on a journey somewhere with Team 8 or something. Don't ask where that idea came from - I'm not totally sure.
I am excited to see Makita change back, though I'm a bit sad by the prospect of not seeing doggy Makita again. Then again, that would mean she was stuck as a dog forever..... Not good. Reformation, huh? Did you ever read Silverwolf's old Pirates of the Mist? Because it makes me think of that. I can't wait to see what Makita will go through. Surely Jinrai has something planned. Will Team 8 be involved. Now that you've brought them in, I seem to be stuck on the idea of them hanging around Makita more U^_^.
Anyway, amazing chapter, DDTD. I can't wait for more!

Wow, I can't believe she's actually going to be changed back O_O I'm kinda excited but at the same time this bit about her having to show signs of progress and reform is really interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing how she fares in that. Nice update, DDTD. Short but still good.
Author's Response: Yes, I figured we're far enough into the story that we can introduce Human Makita. Finally. I'm excited to see how everyone preserves her, and see if anyone sees a serious change in her as we go. I have a lot of stuff planned, and showing how she fares with Jinrai's expectations should be interesting.
