Hmmm, I haven't read the prequel since this story's banner caught my eye first.
First of all, do you know what a "Mary-sue" is? You should search it up. Oh you know, she's just a 16 year girl that happens to control the 6-tailed beast (as if the original host never existed) AND is considered "kage-level" AND is raised by the Raikage and his brother AND is in the special ops AND is loved by everybody AND just happens to have some cool looking outfit that looks more like some punk look than ninja look. Was it also mentioned she can use medical jutsus?! And is supposed to save the world alongside with Naruto. I cringed when reading all that and seeing how overpowered she is just makes it utterly boring. I just wanted to find a decent story but according to people, this is the best there is. This may sound harsh but think about it.
Author's Response: Well then clearly you have to find another story that lives up to your standards. Better yet, why don't you write one yourself. While I'd say I appreciate the constructive criticism, your sarcastic banter has no effect on me, or the direction of my story. Sorry, but not sorry (: Good luck searching for that perfect fic.

So, she is wearing what I assume to be Itachi’s necklace? I wonder what that means. I can’t wait to see how Rayne has grown! I liked the chapter, but don’t really have enough to say to leave a long review. I need to get more into the story to leave those. I can’t wait to see how Sasuke and Rayne meet up though! I am all excited about it.

Well, as I've already told you, I absolutely love the picture. It's really amazing, and Rayne will definitely make sure the Uchiha's cannot resist, as you said.
Has anyone told you you're evil? Because you are. You so totally are. I mean, seriously, are you trying to fry my brain with questions? It's just not fair. Leaving so many cliffhangers. I hate getting a taste of my own medicine T_T. For starters, is that Itachi's necklace she's wearing? I just noticed it when I enlarged the pictures. What mystery is she wanting to reveal? How is she alive? And where is Killer Bee's stuffed unicorn (don't ask, just had to add in something random)?
This was a really good, thought provoking chapter. Definitely, as you said, a cliffhanger chapter. It was nice to see Rayne interact with A since we didn't see too too much on that in HTAO. Also how close she is with Bee. Haha. More Rayne humor. I missed that. I also loved her speech to Rokubi about her purpose and will of fire.
Well, only one more chapter to read. Hopefully I'll get some answers *pointed look*.

I'm going to go out on a limb now and say that Itachi gave rayne Shisui's eye instead of naruto. good to know I'm not the only one who thought rayne's new look is hot.
Author's Response: I actually didn't think about including Shisui's eye... I think I'm just going to keep that with Naruto. He wound up using it to stop that reanimation jutsu during the war, and since I'm not currently sure that Rayne will be present when that happens, I'm just going to leave that be. It's okay to be attracted to fictional characters. It happens. No judgement. Lmao

Well, first off... My jaw dropped when I saw that picture. It's so frigging gorgeous! I love her new look!
All these questions you keep bringing into my head... This isn't fair~ I have no idea what's going on. I still don't know how she's alive! And wow, how much has happened since she was... resurrected, is that even what happened to her? Adopted by A, she's Kage level, she looks amazing, has a great life in Kumo, and now she's headed back to Konoha? Why did she wait so long to decide to convince A she should go, is it just because she saw Sasuke? So many questions~
I really liked this update and the lovely picture to go with it. Great work on both!
