Author's Response: Hmm, yes, that\'s true. That whole becoming enemies with Ino over Sasuke does seem rather exaggerated and unnecessary. No defense on that count. Except... Ino did it too! And I guess she thought it would only be temporary, but then neither would back down.
Author's Response: But weren\'t they still friends, even after they became rivals? They still walked to school together (kind of). I think Sakura was just trying to assert herself in any way possible to become Ino\'s equal. But I still agree, it\'s not exactly Sakura\'s hour of glory ;).
