My life the last couple of years;
In the last few years, I have met someone who has become the closest person in my life.
It's not a boyfriend, it's actually my best friend.
But after knowing her for three years, and having her come over EVERY SINGLE DAY, and spending every moment of my life I could with her, she moved.
So now I only see her over longer breaks.
But she has taught me a lot.
If it was not for her, I would still be sitting around calling people "Baka" and "Kawaii".
She showed me how stupid I look for being completely obsessed with Japan and the culture.
There is no harm in liking Japan and the culture, but once it gets to the point of obsession, it needs to stop. I still like watching anime, in Japanese, with subtitles, but I don't sit around wishing I was Japanese, and collecting chopsticks and anything Japanese. She did not change me, she just opened my eyes.
So, I think I may come back to writing fan fictions, with my better knowledge, and with the same fan girl (if not more) enthusiasm.
It won't be full time, I have taken up drawing (and have gotten A LOT better, but still have to improve.)
If I get enough comments and such, I will make sure to come back to dear TONFA.
