Awake.
Aware.
Heart and eyes racing, trying to contemplate
This darkness,
Bare
Before my eyes.
What's that?
There!
No, there!
There's something here,
I see it's movements,
And We Are Not Alone.
There's others too,
I hear them now,
Fading in and out of sight.
I try to move
But I can not
My body won't respond.
I try to speak,
Alert these figures
Of the nature of my plight.
But something's in the way...
There's something in my mouth...
I begin to struggle now
As I feel my body wake
And suddenly, we have light!
As I begin to feel that "flight or fight"
And my future feels oh not so bright
Now my plight is within sight
I'm tied by leather, gagged by rubber,
And when I look down I see white.
I feel it press against my skin,
And I wonder, "Can I keep it in?"
(the end)
This paragraph here is just to make up the two hundred words that are required for all poems, which to be honest I think is too many.... However, I will just put these paragraphs at the bottom of any that are close to the minimum and combine others that are not close, and I will continue to write.
