You are the one; oh sweet, Sandra Faye,
Who gave me light, and showed me the way
"But where did she go?" I sit and i say
As a cop rushes in shouting, "She ran away!"
A seeping silence, my rage filled voice did plunder
It bounced through the halls; booming like thunder
But where could she be? My family did wonder
Too bad when they found her, she was six feet under
"I want to be alone; just leave me be!"
"My dear Sandra Faye, her spirit set free"
On my knees I ask the heavens, "why me?"
For I am the one that caused her to flee
My life is now ending; But where did it go?
I visit her grave site; where flowers now grow
I've lived my whole life; just letting things flow
I reaped my true love; and now i shall sow.
