TenTen looked up at Deidara’s face. Yes, he did indeed have feminine features. His hair was better than hers, which was hard to admit for a girl of such talent. “Where am I?” she demanded.
“Not in the Akatsuki hideout, yeah.” Deidara replied calmly, holding his scope in his hand. TenTen looked around. “Is this a CAVE?” she said, glaring at him.
“No, it’s a hot tub, yeah.” Deidara said, sarcasm leaking through his words. TenTen sighed and banged her head against the jagged wall. “I hate my life. I hate my life.” She muttered over and over again.
“You’ve got to admit, you could have been stuck in this cave with Itachi, yeah.” Deidara said, putting his scope back on. TenTen shuddered. “I suppose your right, yeah.” TenTen said. Deidara chuckled.
“Eh? I DIDN’T MEAN THAT!” she shouted, hitting Deidara on the head. “Ow.”
“You and your stupid habits..” TenTen said, giving him a good hit on the head again. Deidara rubbed his head. “How do you know it’s a habit, yeah?” Deidara asked.
“Because you end almost all of your sentences with yeah.” TenTen replied, pulling out a kunai and scratching the wall. She looked at Deidara. “Why didn’t you just leave me here? You could have left.” She said.
Deidara smirked. “But then I wouldn’t have the pleasure of taking you to a deadly place and leaving you, yeah!” he exclaimed. TenTen rolled her eyes. “So mature.” She said. The sarcasm was obvious.
“Only one of us can use sarcasm, yeah. I’ll fight you for it.” Deidara said, his hand diving into a pouch. TenTen noticed that his cloak was missing. Then, she noticed it on the ground. She guessed he was going to lie on it at some point.
“That is so idiotic.” TenTen replied. Deidara didn’t seem to care and he sent a bird flying at TenTen. She stood there, not sure what he was doing. Unfortunately, it exploded right by her face and she had to jump back quickly.
“I see how it is!” TenTen shouted, grabbing her two scrolls. ‘There isn’t much space in here, but I’ll try.’ She thought. That didn’t work, because Deidara sent two explosive birds at the scrolls. TenTen scooped them up quickly and jumped back. She put them away.
“I guess I’ll have to finish you off, yeah. So weak.” Deidara taunted. TenTen noticed that he was holding back. TenTen threw six kunai at his hand, hoping at least one would hit it. The other hand was still in the pouch. Instead of sending something flying at her, he jumped back and dodged the kunai. He took his hand out and a giant bird formed.“Are you coming with?” he asked.
He had a look on his face that said ‘you-didn’t-even-get-close-to-hitting-me-and-I-did!’. TenTen glared at him put she hopped on anyways.
“Glad to see you’re coming.” Deidara said, as he looked around. “There’s a village really close, yeah. I saw it when I was passing by.” Deidara said after a few minutes. TenTen grunted in reply. She was very cold.
The next thing she new, Deidara was holding out his cloak. “Take it.” He said. TenTen wrapped it around herself. She wasn’t surprised that he was cold, but he managed it. They landed a few minutes later. It was colder than it was in the air and TenTen was lucky no one noticed that she was wearing the ever so familiar black and red cloak.
“Stop right there!”
