Hinata wiped the sweat from her brow, and sat by the edge of the stream. She was tired, having been training for the past few hours. The moon has high now, full and bright, so she could see clearly. She removed her sandals and dipped her toes into the cool water. Smiling, she splashed water lightly onto her legs, rubbing them. They were tense and a little sore, but it was a good hurt, the kind that comes from hard work.
It was time now for a different kind of training, Hinata decided. She looked at the waterfall a few feet away. It was very tall, but made up of tiny ones, the rocks jutting out like steps. Standing, the girl looked around, making sure she was alone, before stripping off her clothes and folding them neatly on the rocks. She made her way over to the fall, and stood under the water, feeling the sweat and grime wash away.
After a few moments, she began to dance. It wasn't any defined steps, more just swaying to the music in her head. As she danced, she began gathering chakra in her hands. Her movements grew larger, wider, until she was twirling, spinning, and leaping, her arms making graceful curves. She used the chakra in her hands to manipulate the water around her, until it moved with her, forming arcs of tiny droplets as she spun.
Hinata felt free, pure, uninhibited. For the first time in her life, she felt completely comfortable in her own skin. Dancing naked under the waterfall in the moonlight, she felt... beautiful. She twirld again, her arms snaking, her spine curving, her hips swaying in the most feminine way. The drops of water glistened around her, forming an orb-like shield.
Suddenly, someome called out to her from the banks. She turned, panicing, covering her body, the care-free feeling lost. The person had slipped on the rocks and fallen into the water, and was now getting to his hands and knees. Hinata gasped, terrified, as he lifted his face, the face of the boy she loved the most. His eyes were closed, his hair dripping in front of his eyes. He called out to her, but she was already running away as fast as she could. Her clothes forgotten, she didn't stop until she was sure he wasn't following her. She sighed and leaned against a tree trunk, closing her eyes.
He hadn't recognized her. She could tell from his face that he'd had no idea who the naked girl in front of him had been. Naked? Oh, how could she ever face him now! She already fainted every time he was near her. Hinata shivered and hugged herself. She'd wait until he was gone, then go back for her clothes. Hinata thought back to Naruto's face, lit by the moon, looking even more beautiful than ever. "Of course he didn't think that girl was me," Hinata thought sadly. "He doesn't think I'm that beautiful." She lowered her head as a tear rolled down her still flushed cheek.
