Ezra walked out onto the school yard, smiling. “Hey, Ace, where are you? Haven’t seen you all day!”
A girl with long, black hair, a blue t-shirt with no detail, and a dark red short skirt. She wore black sneakers, which finished off he school uniform. Ezra had Electric, Spiky Blue hair, a Blue T-Shirt with no detail, and darker red shorts, as well as black sneakers. The girl smiled up at him, and kissed him on the cheek, “He’s sick, so he couldn’t come...”
Ezra smiled, “Oh well, I guess it’s just you and me today, Cindy!”
The girl, Cindy, blushed, “Okay, what do you want to do?”
Ezra shrugged, “I don’t know, I-”
The school bell rang, and Ezra said, “Uh oh, if I’m late, my teacher will kill me! How about a picnic tonight at eight?”
Cindy nodded, “Yeah, I’ll bring the blanket, can you make the food?”
Ezra stuck a thumb up at her, “Yup! See ya tonight!”

Ezra set his picnic basket on the ground, and waited. He sat down, and started humming a tune. After some time, someone covered his eyes, “Guess who.”
Ezra smirked, “Cindy, am I right?”
He felt Cindy press her lips to his cheek, pulling away to say, “Yeah.”
She flung her blanket on the ground, and it rolled out. Ezra got out some sandwiches, and gave one to her. After they finished eating, Ezra looked up at the starry sky, “Wish Ace wasn’t sick.”
Cindy kissed him on the cheek, “Yeah, but hey, we get time alone for a while, that’s something.”
“You sure about that, Cindy?”
She gasped, “Ace?”
The boy nodded, and sat down next to Ezra, “So, what are you doing?”
Ezra smirked, “Having a picnic, what does it look like?”
Ace smirked, his dark skin hiding him in the moonlight. He wore a white t-shirt, and black pants, his choice of clothes. The next day he would be wearing what Ezra was wearing. “So, have any plan’s tomorrow?”
Cindy shook her head, “No, why?”
Ace said, “Because, we could go on a double date to the movies.”
Ezra answered, “You have a DATE?!”
Ace laughed, “Yeah yeah, cut the act. Anyways, you wanna double?”
Cindy nodded, “Sure, if that’s okay with you, Ezra.”
Ezra kissed her on the forehead, “That’s fine with me, what’s the movie?”
Ace smirked, “It’s a romance, Kissing in Moonlight, supposed to make you want to kiss someone in the middle, and at the end, want to kiss them even MORE.”
Ezra smirked, “Yeah, you just wanna go because you want to kiss her.”
Ace blushed, “W-Well, that’s besides the point, she wanted to go. So, you still want to?”
Cindy looked to Ezra, “I want to, but...”
Ezra smiled, “If you want to, then I want to too. Alright, I have to go back, curfew during school season is nine.”
Cindy nodded, “Okay, I’ll see you tomorrow at school, we can have lunch together.”
Ezra nodded, and ran off, smiling.
Later, Cindy was at home in bed, same for Ace. Ezra, however, was sleeping at an orphanage where everyone was bigger than him.
Little did the three know, they would never go on that date.
