Nikki slept against a tree in the Sound Village, she didn`t worry about Konoha ANBU member, she was protected, or so she hoped.
She had learned Naruto had become an ANBU member, and Sasuke and him had gotten married or something like that, she wasn`t quite sure.
Other then that she knew nothing, she hadn`t gone there in 6 years, nor did she plan on going back. She had become very cold, Cameron, Jessica, Naruto, and Sasuke had constantly tried to get her back, but she refused and forced them out.
"Nikki-chan, Nikki-chan!" she heard, the familiar voice only made her curl up next to the warmth, who just happened to be Orochimaru.
The 24 year old constantly cuddled up to him, even if she didn`t notice she was.
He sighed, "Nikki-chan, wake up." There was more of a harshness in his voice that made her wake up, she didn`t like his harsh voice and it had never been calming, unlike his usual voice to her.
She yawned, "Orochi-kun? What is it? I never get to relax, so unless you wanna sleep by the tree next to me, go do your leader stuff or whatever...."
He smiled, "Nikki-chan, I need you to find Uchiha Itachi and bring him back here."
She muttered something, "But I don`t wanna, I don`t wanna be alone, I`m sick of these bad missions, I know no one wants help from us, but seriously, Itachi? You`re not taking his body, he isn`t that attractive....."
Orochimaru shook his head, "We need more strong ninja in this village, and Itachi just happens to be the strongest I can think of."
She shook her head, "No Orochi-kun!" She whined, snuggling up against him.
"Why do you have to be so stubborn, act your age for once, please," he sighed, her antics normally worked on him too.
"But what if I die again?" she asked.
That day flashed in his mind and he quickly looked at the ground, "I don`t want that happening... but..."
"But nothing, we have to train some ninja, and I`ll help you do that, but in no way am I getting an Uchiha..... they are idiots.... like that Sasuke..." she muttered in an annoyed fashion.
Orochimaru stared at her, she had complained about her old friends, with so much true hatred, it just wasn`t like her. Even though he too hated them, he didn`t like seeing Nikki like this, his Nikki, she was too kind for this and many times he had considered telling her to go Konoha and living there and never coming back, but the truth was, he felt he needed her.
Nikki smiled, "So, I don`t have to go?"
Orochimaru sighed and nodded, "Fine..."
She giggled hugging him, "Thanks Orochi-kun, I love you."
He couldn`t help but smile, "I love you too, Nikki-chan."
