That was really sweet and a tear-jerker. Good job.

Firstly, *sob* secondly, *cries* and thirdly...*sobs and cries some more*

It was done so well! So...in character. I am literally in AWE at how much they were just...themselves. I could really imagine this clearly in my head because it was not in any way, shape, or form cliche. The presents were VERY Naruto. I laughed at the pastry cake. So Naruto-ish to do that, and for Sasuke to eat it anyway just for the sake of it! (well, kind of anyway) *laughs* I enjoyed reading about them as kids, because they were just so clueless about everything. Naruto hates him, but decides to give him a present anyway! Now, why could that be?

Now, for the crying. I hate where the comment box is set...right UNDER the whole story. I keep glancing up at the last sentence...and trying not to cry. Oh, it's too sad! (so why are you reading it?!) I knew I shouldn't have read the whole thing...it screamed angst from the very beginning! Happy stories always turn into cry-fests *nods* But yeah, the last sentence should alway leave a last impression...and that one got to me pretty bad. I knew he was going to do something completely Sasuke-like! I KNEW it! And so I leave you to go and cry in a corner...

Thankyouthankyouthankyou! This was so perfect for Sasuke's birthday! Angsty and happy at the same time. T^T I loved it so much...your hard work (as well as your beta's) doesn't go unappreciated! It was amazing! Thank you brumal! (*snicker* new/old name! Didn't know it was you at first X] ) *sob*

*love*

Author's Response: Poor dear, poor dear. I've made you cry again! You must bring yourself to be stronger sometimes... But it does feel good to cry over a fic every once in a while. It's a shame I'm totally immune to my own. D=rnrnBut still, I'm glad that you liked this so much! Nadra and I tried out a happier ending, but it just didn't really seem to give so much impression on the reader, so we trashed it. I swear I'm not super sadistic and keep wanting to write angsty stories (but people lie, don't they? DX)! Anyways, I think it's just me who can't ever imagine Sasuke and Naruto in a happy ending. It just doesn't work. Like Nadra said, "it has to end somewhere."rnrnYeah, the whole name change, huh? I'm changing all of my accounts to match my deviantART one, except for the fact that I can't change my LJ account... Ah well. At least there will be less confusion. rnrnI'll be looking forward to your enthusiastic replies! Thanks, as usual, for reading!
