Wow, this chapter was really interesting. We learned a lot about Iris, like with her relationship to Kai and finding her dugout. I wonder what this seal is all about. Nice work, keep up the good work with this story!

Sorry it took me a while to get to this, been busy. But I got really upset when Okino was not to be Takumi's guard anymore :( Those two were so cute together. What is she gonna do now? Will she still be seeing Takumi or anything? Ugh~ So many questions. Anyways, keep up the good work on this story. And sorry about your computer, hope everything is okay now.

What is Takumi up to? What is Okino up to? What is going on with everyone? O_O Things are getting intense and I'm getting a little worried about what is going to happen with all this drama. This is getting so good :3 Nice job! You have me so hooked on this story.
Author's Response: I'm really glad that you like it. Currently progress is at a stand-still because, due to an unfortunate event, my computer got ran over by a car. I had to purchase a new one, and I'm in the process of transporting the data from the old one to the new one. Hopefully I will have the cable soon, and I can continue updating. I'm also in the process of working on a new fanfiction featuring an OC and Itachi. It is slow work, but I am excited about it as well.

This was such an interesting chapter, we got to learn more about Okino :O I really liked her back story, it made me really sad but it was good to learn more about how she is and why she hates Iris so much.
Speaking of, the way she froze up and ran away from Iris :O That surprised me, it seemed so out of character for her. It was kinda shocking to see actually.

I feel kinda bad for Iris that she's stuck with Itachi. I mean the other option seems to be her wanting to accept death which also isn't cool, so I don't know which is the better option.
By the way, you spell Kisame's name wrong, you say Kismae when it is Kisame.
Takumi and Okino... really starting to love them, honestly ^_^

Author's Response: So true. xD The main options Iris seems to have is sticking with Itachi or living with him tailing her. You'll find out why he's so determined to have her close by soon enough. :3 I'm really loving the little crush Okino is developing on Takumi. It makes her seem even younger (that along with her sometimes childish attitude), like a school girl crushing on the cool guy. And he loves teasing her, which just makes their little bickering / relationship cuter.
Sometimes I still think Itachi might be OOC by violently abusing poor Iris =/ But I did like that line you added in about him not wanting anyone to see how much it hurt him to hurt her. I thought that was really part of his character.
Side note: Thrift Shop started playing toward the end of this chapter for me right as I read your end notes ;D

Author's Response: Yes I agree; Takumi and Okino's relationship is very cute. The way they bicker and gripe at one another makes it feel a little more realistic to me. Itachi is a bit OOC and I hate that he is. All of these beginning chapters were written way before I ever got to do exclusive research on him. Heh, it was before I knew he wasn't really a bad guy. The farther into the story you go, the more in character he gets. Take consideration when this story was first being written, we both thought Itachi was just a mean-ass. It's hard for me to tell whether Takumi has feelings for Iris...or maybe just as a close friend. Nothing bad on your part but I'll see where this goes.
Somehow I still can't believe Itachi was that ruthless. Mental damage can be worse than physical damage and that genjutsu sounded rough.

So while being eager to post your chapters is good...you should slow down. People need time to catch up and read, not to mention they are probably reading other stories on here too. A good updating scheme is once a week. Just some advice :)
I liked the imagery right before her death, it was beautifully described and I liked it a lot. But when Itachi appeared back in the hidden leaf just like that I was very surprised. He's been exiled from the village all this time and now he makes an appearance like that. It interests me greatly.
Great update! Seems like I have a lot of catching up to do, so on to the next chapter.

Awesome chapter, as always. One thing I'd like to mention is you said the Hokage was the Third yet referred to her as a female, which would imply it's the Fifth, Tsunade. Other than that, great work on this. Looking forward to your next update.

the last scene was very well detailed in my opinion. I dunno how to explain it but something is always mystical about the last moments before a public execution. Like the world stops for a moment to let that person live for their last minute. Very good update. On to the next chapter.

Wow, this chapter was short but really good. I was hoping Iris would be saved, mostly because I'm not ready to lose her so early into the story. I was not expecting Itachi though o_O Maybe I should have, since we saw him earlier, but wow~
I was really interested with Iris pretty much giving up and that Takumi could understand every part of what she was thinking and such. That was pretty cool.
Nice job on this chapter, Panda-san. Hope to see more soon. Btw, have you already written a lot for this story? If you do, how much do you have? :O

Iris's story is actually kinda.... I don't know, strange? For her to be so emotionless and uncaring about it or unfearing of death makes me think that she's suicidal or something. What gives... Oh, btw, love the picture of her in the beginning of this chapter :D
I'm really hoping Iris isn't actually executed... Please let someone miraculously save her >_< I don't want her to die so soon into the story after we just started learning about her, that would really suck.

Author's Response: Her story is really strange, yes. There are so many things I had to go back and change about it to make it actually seem "right" it's pathetic. Nonetheless, it's structured well enough. Suicidal? In a way, she could be, but for the records she would never take her own life. ok one thing I wanna point out, you kept referring to the Raikage as a she and then sometimes as a he. So that confused me.

Author's Response: Terribly sorry for the he/she confusion. I believe--at some point in the past--while I was reading over this, I had to change the gender of the Raikage because it was incorrect. Now it has been so long since then, I'm not even 100% on which it is. xD I will have to research it soon. When I do, I will make the necessary corrections. Thank you for finding that mistake; I really appreciate it. As far as Takumi goes, yes, he's had it rough, but he gets to show his colors through the story.

Just something I noticed, you put "Kumogakure's Village Hidden among the Clouds, in the Land of Lightening". All you need to put is "Kumogakure" and maybe add in "in the Land of Lightning" if you wish. But Kumogakure means "Village Hidden Among the Clouds".
Other than that, I am really enjoying this story and your characters so far. This definitely seems like a good story worth following, I'm looking forward to reading more. Keep up the good work, Panda-san.

This was pretty good, I'm becoming really interested in this story as I continue to read and learn about the characters. I guess my issue with the first chapter and too many OCs was that there was a whole slew of them without any real differentiation for me, but I liked this chapter because it focused on a few yet introduced their personalities more. This was a really interesting start to the story so far. I look forward to learning more about all these characters you've presented. In my opinion, you've kind of thrown too many OCs at us right off the bat without really showing what the story is really about. And the bolding was a little rough to look at for so long, but maybe I just have sensitive eyes, I dunno. But I did enjoy what was here, and I'm looking forward to seeing where this story really goes. Nice job.

Author's Response: Thanks so much for your review. :) I also understand what you are saying about the mass of OCs near the beginning. The reason for this is because they are the key characters in the whole story, and there is not as much cannon work as normal fanfics present. This is much like a rabbit trail, something that happened around the same time as the plot of the series, but was off doing its own thing. There will be some more cannon work later, and you will get really connected with the characters as the story progresses. x3 Thank you for the link about the htmls. I know a lot about them, and I've tried many of the codes but I could never see the picture. I'll try what you provided me, and see if that works. :) -OBP

Damn this was pretty good. You introduced each character well and got them characterized right off the bat. The text probably doesnt need to be all bolded but if you chose to put it that way then that's fine. But yeah is this your first fan-fic? If so nice job.
