O_O Oh... My... Gosh... Kakashi is Maruhi's dad... Holy crap... Actually, I guess I knew that was coming anyway, now that I think about the clues and all... But wow, that Star Wars moment "Maruhi, I am your father". Hahaha, always so dramatic.
I really almost cried when Natsumi died T_T It was so vivid, and the emotion was so raw, it really was a very heart-wrenching scene.
This chapter was very well-written. A very dramatic and suspenseful piece that I really enjoyed. Good job with this. I'm looking forward to seeing more from you soon!

T_T This was such a sad beginning to the story... Well the actual beginning was rather nice. Tsunami and Natsumi getting along, raising their boys together, those scenes were really cute. But as the boys get older, everything does become more sad because of Maruhi learning about his mom and Gato killing Kaiza. You do an excellent job of slipping in details to help build the story instead of explaining it all in one go. This chapter makes me eager to continue on and read more. I look forward to seeing where you take this and finding out who Maruhi's father is :D Keep up the good work, winterstrife.
Author's Response: Glad you liked it! Yeah, the boys certainly went through some difficult times, between Gato's appearance and Natsumi's mysterious past haunting her and her son. I thought about just skipping right into the middle of things, but then I would've had to explain the back story somehow, and this seemed like more fun, so I'm glad you enjoyed the detailed glimpses into Maruhi's childhood.
