Writing is something I simply looove doing. And practice through fics is excellent, especially when my head is all in the clouds and in story mode and I can't find release.
My most favorite character trait to read about is deeply set characters betraying their personalities. Like, for example, Sasuke smiling! Gaara with a loving family. Iruka Sensei senselessly demolishing other people's hopes and dreams. Naruto solving puzzles. Sakura being considerate of other people ;) Jokes.
What I really love though, are stories that have a good plot, witty lines, and entertaining and tearjerking filler.
I don't write professionally, per se... I create graphic novels. Maybe I'll show you my stuff one day. anyway, like I said, practice is a good thing. My written word, un-aided by visuals, is not yet up to par.
