Thunder crashes outiside
And the lighting hits the Earth soundlessly
I stare outside with a look in my eyes
No not fear but love and happiness
Tears form in my eyes because of the beauty
The rain has always been there for me
When I was young thats when i met him
He stood tall and proud as the thunder crashed
I cried in fear but he held me and told me not to fear it
"Love it"he whispered and planted a kiss on my lips
The lighting surronded us but I did not quiver
I smiled and laughed happily
It has always loved me as I had loved him
It rained the day I met him and I loved him
But as I sit in my dark room and write
I cry and the rain falls lightly against my window pane
For just this moment i cry in hurt because i had lost him
Just this moment the rain goes slow just for me
Just this painful moment I get to say
"I love you..."
