It was mid morning, the sun shone thrugh the window. Beautiful red eyes fluttered open. Kurenai looked to the man next to her. She swept the hair away from his face. Then he awoke. His dark eyes met hers. they smiled at each other.
Itachi kissed her sweetly. They silently reflected on the past night's events. Though they weren't sure how it happened, the night ended with them being together.
They got out of the bed. Kurenai, not bothering to cover herself, got herself fresh clothes. Itachi gathered his scattered clothes. He sat on the bed without his cloak. Finally, he was ready to leave.
The two shared a final kiss before they left, knowing they would be enimies the next time they met. As they said goodbey with their eyes, they knew they would find a way to be together. Someday they would be together again.
And with that, the parted. Nothing would be the same anymore.
