Chapter notes: i don't own Naruto T-T
How many years had it been? Two? Three? It had been a shock to everyone when they found out that the loud rambunctious blonde, Konoha’s number one knuckleheaded ninja, destined to be the next Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki, had committed suicide. The whole village had come to the funeral, because even though most hated him, they would miss his pranks, his laugh, how he always had a smile on his face to mask his pain. There was a heavy feeling of guilt in the air that day, of regret. Those who knew him best shared stories of how he’d influenced them. Those who hated him regretted it, and wished that they’d gotten to know him better. October 10th is no longer remembered as the day the Fourth Hokage saved the village from the nine-tailed fox; it is also remembered as the day his son, Naruto, was lost to the village. Since Naruto’s passing, on the anniversary, a few people pull pranks in his memory. People visit his grave, and wonder what might have been. But they couldn’t stop it, and they are left with their thoughts, their regrets, and their sadness.
