Nick stared out the bus window into the rain as it trickled down the window. Nick despised rain...it may him feel sad, depressed. He didn't think of this as a good start for the day.
Valerie looked back at him. "Hey, Nick. Rain gotcha' down?" Nick smirked. Valerie and he had been friends for a long time. He had helped her and she had helped him. They were always there for each other, wether it be for little things like homework, boredom, school, or big problems such as love, depression, or projects. He hoped they wouldn't get seperated, because without her, he'd be very, VERY confused. "Hey, Valerie. What's up?" "Oh, ya' know, the usual. You?" Their conversations always started like this. If they weren't up-to-date with each, they were lost.
It quite entertained Nick.
"Same here." Valerie smiled. "So, so all fired up for today?" "Ha, ha. Just hilarious."
The bus was pulled up to the school. Nick gathered up his things. He got off with Valerie and walked into his first class, gym. As soon as he walked in, his girlfriend, Chloe, glomped him. Nick grinned and hugged her back. "How was your weekend? I missed you..." she whimpered. "It was good. I missed you, too." he said, still hugging her. "Hm...maybe this day is improving..." he thought.
