"N-N-NARUTO!" Hinata shouted sitting up. She was covered in a cold sweat with tears falling from her face. She looked around the room, getting a sense of reality, splitting it from the awful dream she'd just had, but the dream had been real once... she buried her face in her hands.
"Mummy. You were shouting again." Came a small voice in the corner. Hinata looked over to see a small 6 year old child holding a teddy bear.
"Ayane, it's okay, I just had a nightmare." Ayane clambered onto Hinata's bed and buried her face in Hinata's dark blue hair.
"Did mummy dream about daddy again?" She whispered. Hinata wrapped her arms around Ayane's shoulders and whispered into her blonde hair.
"Yes, mummy was dreaming about daddy again." Trying to hold in a sob.
"Mummy can cry. Ayane will be here to make it all better."
"Ayane, it's okay, I'm fine." Hinata tried to pull away but Ayane wouldn't let her. She eventually gave in and began to cry on her own daughter's shoulder.
"Do you miss daddy, mummy?"
"Yes, very much."
"Ayane misses daddy too." Hinata, after a small while lay down and fell asleep. Ayane looked down on her mothers sleeping figure, then to the ceiling and whispered, "Daddy needs to make mummy stop having nightmares and crying. Daddy needs to come home and tell mummy he loves her. Please daddy." She then curled up next to Hinata and fell asleep herself.
