Chapter 1: The Cursed one part one a nine year old boys eyes were looking at the fruit stand that was just a few feet in front of him. He loathed for thee food that was just sitting there he was starving. The only time he got food was scraps that people left out for him because they didn’t want it or it was getting bad.

“Hey you”!

Akihiro looked up to see a tall man looming over him, looking very angry

“what do you think you’re doing hanging around my stand, “you’re driving off all my customers.

“I just want a little food”.

“Food food”! You’re lucky the captain hasn’t banished you from this village for what you’ve done or better yet hasn’t killed you and here you are looking for pity. “Get out of here before I get the captains men you Runt”!

Akihiro run as far as he could from the stand and on to the streets of the village. He hated it here he was being accused for something he hasn’t even done, he’d leave if he could but the captain of the village wouldn’t let him.

Akihiro stopped in his tracks out of the corner of his eye he saw two woman looking at him with disgust in their eyes he could hear them talking about him.

“You see that kid over there”.

“Ya I know who he is that’s the cursed one.”

Angry built up inside of Akihiro he wasn’t cursed and that wasn’t his name his name was Akihiro Suzuki.

“I’m not cursed and I haven’t done anything wrong!”

The two woman’s eyes widened in shock and fear as Akihiro shouted at them afraid that he would electrocute them.

Akihiro suddenly felt and heard the crackling noise of lightning around him, he looked at his arms lighting was sparking on him it happened when he got angry or was going to use it to fight somebody. He looked back up at the two young woman that he had shouted at their eyes held even more fear than when he shouted at him.

“GO AWAY YOU MONSTER”!

“FREAK WE SAID GO AWAY"!

Akihiro felt a stinging in his eyes he knew he was about to cry all he wanted was for someone to care about him. Akihiro turned and ran as fast as his legs would carry him away from the village, towards the house that he and his parents use to live in.

Akihiro reached an abounded house that had cracked windows, floors creak over all it didn’t look like someone had ever even lived in it but people had Akihiro and his parents had lived there, but now it was just Akihiro.

Akihiro stepped in to the house and looked around he could still see his parent’s body’s lying on the floor.

He walked down the hall and went in to his room, he laid down on his bed and stared at the ceiling.

“Why did this happen to me."

The room soon became filled with a glowing orange color, Akihiro looked out his window the sun was setting and the snow was falling ever so gently.

Akihiro’s eyes became heavy with tiredness he wanted to continue looking at the beautiful sun as if somehow it could provide happiness for him. But having not slept for a while he could feel his eyes beginning to close.

Realizing he wouldn’t be able to fight the tiredness forever he closed his eyes and let his dreams take him away from this cruel world.

A great brightness filled Akihiro’s room, his eyes twitched he wanted to remain in his dream where his parents were there caring for him and loving him, but his eyes grew restless of being closed.

“Morning Akihiro.”

A deep rumbling voice hummed, Akihiro recognized it at once it was Azrael the wolf that was sealed inside Akihiro when he was a baby.

“Azrael”!

A deep rumbling chuckle was heard, Akihiro smiled he loved Azrael’s laugh and voice it was deep and soothing.

“Hey Akihiro”.

“Azrael why haven’t you talked the past few days I need help, with a question”.

“What is it”?

“Do you think I’m a monster, and a freak”?

There was a long silence, and for a moment Akihiro was afraid of what Azrael’s response was going to be, then suddenly there was a response.

“Why would you ask me if I think you’re a monster or a freak?

“Because….because”.

Akihiro couldn’t finish what he was going to say he didn’t want it to be true.

“Because that’s some of the villagers called you yesterday wasn’t it “>

Akihiro nodded his head slowly, once again he could feel a stinging in his eyes tears were about to roll down his face.

“Akihiro look at me”.

Akihiro looked up and noticed at once that his surroundings had changed he was now in his inner cage where he could now see Azrael face to face instead of talking to him in his head.

Akihiro also noticed that Azrael was in his true form which was as big as the tailed beast but sometimes he went down to what a regular wolf would have been, because when Akihiro turns in to Azrael when he fight’s unless the enemy is crazy strong he normally stays to a normal wolf height.

“You are not a monster, runt, or anything else, to me you are brave nine year old boy who has put up with being a vessel and has never complained or been selfish, out of all the time I have been living you are the bravest, strongest person I know.”

Akihiro took it back there is someone who cared about him Azrael cared about him, Akihiro could still feel the stinging in his eyes but it was more powerful than before he didn’t want Azrael to see him cry.

“And Akihiro”.

“WH-what”.

“You can let it out now I know you have been holding back your tears”.

Akihiro took a couple steps forward till he was near Azrael’s big muzzle. He buried his face in Azrael’s brown/bronze fur and started to cry he could feel his sobs rock his whole body.

Azrael listened to Akihiro cry in his fur , he was sorry for this nine year old boy whose parents had been murdered and how the villagers hated him , he won’t let any harm come to Akihiro.

After a while Akihiro came out of his inner cage and went to the village to try and find something to eat he was hungry but felt better after he had cried and talked to Azrael, Azrael was always there for him.

“I doubt I will be able to get any food.”

Akihiro walked around the village for quite a while now and when he looked up at the sun it was starting to set, but Akihiro didn’t feel like going home yet, like something was drawing him to it but he didn’t know what.

The cold winter wind howled around the nine figures trying to blow them over with all of its might but no matter how much the cold wind howled and pushed it couldn’t knock them over.

“Zetsu are you sure that the jinchurki is around here.”

A man with short white/silver hair carrying a syth

“I’m pretty sure”.

‘You’re pretty sure …. We have been walking to here for six days and you’re pretty sure”!

“Hidan shut up and stop complaining.”

This time it was a man with sea foam eyes and something over his and a face mask spoke.

“Humph”.

Was the white/silver haired man’s response.

Suddenly a man with orange spikey hair spoke.

“We will stop in the village up ahead and ask if they have seen the jinchurki, it’s far out enough from the villages that they shouldn’t get any ideas of who any of us are. "

The group grew silent and continued walking towards the village and after about 15-20 minutes the arrived there and when they did get their man in uniform came out.

“Who are you”? The man with spikey orange hair asked.

“I am the captain of this village, I assume you’re just passing through”.

“We came looking for someone and need to know where he is now”.

“Well good luck with that, you can stay in this village just don’t cause trouble, and there is only one rule.”

The man with the spikey orange hair narrowed his eyes

‘what would that be”?

“Don’t go near, speak, or try to help the cursed one.”

Hidan quirked a brow and smiled slyly.

“The cursed on eh, hehe sounds interesting.” The captain only shook his head and walked away towards the village.

Akihiro was still walking around the village getting dirty looks from all of the villagers, he didn’t like being looked at that way and wanted to go home but something was telling him to stay.

“Akihiro”.

“What is it Azrael”?

“Why don’t you just go home it’s getting late?”

Akihiro looked up at the sky Azrael was right it was getting late the stars had come out and the moon was out.

“Just a little longer Azrael, I don’t know why but I get the feeling like I’m not supposed to leave yet”.

“I don’t understand but fine.”

“Thank you Azrael”.

“Huhu”.

Akihiro looked around the village, villagers were still out having a good time it was mostly the adults it was time that the children were asleep.

Suddenly Akihiro heard a man’s voice speaking behind a building, Akihiro was curious to see who was speaking so he rounded the building but carful to hide himself.

By the inn Akihiro saw nine men standing about talking, they were wearing black cloaks with red clouds on them.

Akihiro saw and heard the man with white/silver hair start complaining about something.

“I can’t believe we haven’t found any information on the stupid jinchurki.”

“Hidan shut up we’ve only been in this village for twenty minutes we are still looking tomorrow.”

Akihiro watched the two men out of the nine arguing, suddenly one of the men with a pony tail and black hair looked over to where Akihiro was hiding and saw him.

The man with the blue skin spoke.

“What is it Itachi?”

“We have a visitor”.

All nine of the men looked over to where Akihiro was hiding, Akihiro froze he had been caught he moved out behind the wall.

Hidan quirked a brow “it’s a kid.”

The man with orange spikey hair waved his hand back and forth signaling for Akihiro to come closer.

The man with the white/silver hair looked at the man with the orange spiky hair.

“ aww pain why did you wave him over here.”

“Because somethings off with that boy.”

The girl with the blue hair spoke

“pains right look at the way all the villagers are looking at him.”

The seven members looked all right they sawl all the dirty looks that the boy was getting from the villagers , pain waved his hand again for the boy.

Akihiro was unsure about advancing to the men and the girl they could hurt him if they wanted to and he knew that none of the villagers would even try to help.

Pain could see the hesitation and doubt in the boys eyes, pain waved his once more to try to get the boy to come over to them.

Akihiro gave in and started to make his way over to the nine men and the girl, he was now standing in front of the men and woman.

Pain looked at the boy and then spoke, making Akihiro jump a little.

“Why were you eves dropping and watching us?”

“I was just curious, we don’t get many outsiders in our village.”

“What’s with the seal on your shoulder?”

Akihiro jumped again he wasn’t aware that one of the others were going to speak, it was the man with the white/silver hair.

“It’s meant to keep the lightning wolf inside of me from attacking the village.”

“Ah so you must be the cursed one the captain spoke of earlier.”

Anger built up in Akihiro again there was that word again the cursed one he wasn’t cursed.

“MY NAME ISN’T THE CURSED ONE IT’S AKIHIRO SUZUKI!”

The akatsuki’s eye’s widened in surprise none of them actually expected him to answer nether less yell at them.

Hidan smirked at the boy.

“Well if you’re not cursed because of the wolf inside you then why do they call you the cursed one.

Akihiro’s gaze softened and he looked down at the ground.

“They call me the cursed one because for a couple years ago I came home to find my parents lying dead on the floor they looked as if someone electrocuted them to death, that’s when the villager’s made up accusations that I killed my parents because I went on a rampage so they started calling

“Wow you know for a kid you sure can explain things in elaborate detail, but I don’t believe that you have something that powerful inside you.” Akihiro narrowed his eyes at Hidan

“well it’s true whether you believe me or not.”

Pain looked at the boy with interest in his eyes

“if it’s true then why don’t you show us this power that you have within you.”

Akihiro looked at pain and shook his head

“not here I will show you tomorrow over by my house.”

“And where is your house?”

Akihiro turned around and pointed at a hill a little while from the village.

“It’s over that hill.”

Pain nodded and looked back at Akihiro.

“Very well we will meet you there in the afternoon so you can show us. Akihiro nodded and took off away from the Akatsuki and towards his home.

Hidan looked at pain

“hey do you really think he has some kind of power like he said that’s as strong as the tailed beast.

“who knows we will find out tomorrow.”
