It's a beautiful songfic. It's all too sad that I can identify with this: breaking up even after you promised to wed. I tried not to listen to love songs; rather hate songs to keep me from feeling hurt. I'm sure I would have felt that there was only the decision that Shika made if I had done that.
Marvelous, deep feeling. 10/10

Author's Response: Thank you. To be honest, when I wrote this, I felt that I didn't quite do a good job, maybe having exaggerated the emotions involved. I won't consider this the best of my writing, but it seems that this has a quality above my own expectations for it.
I've been trying to work on other songfics- particularly, a sequel to this. I hope I can do a good job on them. Thanks, once again.

Awww, so sad. Very touchy, I really loved how you developed his emotional response and why he didn't fight for her to not leave at first and then how it slowly ate away at him.
Made me all happy at how well its written. Tsk, poor Shika D: Great job ^^
Author's Response: Thanks. To be honest, when I was writing this, I felt that this was a bit below standard. I guess I did all right, after all. I'm glad I managed to capture the emotions in the song.
