Okay, that makes absolutely no sense, he gets a paper the same day (Or mere hours) after she kisses Naruto?
Author's Response: You weren't supposed to find out the reason until later but, Jiriaya told some people that Naruto was with Naomi. The, I guess you could say paparazzi of back then, went to find them, took a picture of them kissing and immediately printed it into the newspaper. And it took them about an hour to get to the gates (Naomi and them) The press worked extremely fast so they could go rub it in the kings face. Okay.... hope that clears it up a bit.
