I really like where this story is heading. I always enjoy story's that take the what if route.
The young childish Naruto sort of bantering with Kakashi was entertaining. it seemed very realistic to me, Naruto really seems to type to ask probing and not quite appropriate questions as a child just out of curiosity.
The idea of him wanting to work at a ramen shop when he grew up was hilarious and strangely enough iIcan almost picture it in my head.
Great, that means I don't have to give a shit about what you say,” that lien kinda threw me, I know Naruto can be disrespectful but he doesn't seem the type to curse even mildly as a child. Huff, make faces and turn away yes but the words seemed too adult for a six year old naruto.
There were couple other instances where naruto seemed to be thinking a bit too complex for the age you were portraying him as and it jolted me out of the story.
For the most part though this shows a lot of potential and I can't wait to read more.
Author's Response: Thank you, I am so pleased you enjoyed it...rnrnas to the other - I knew that particular line would draw criticism but I don't see it as being disrespectful as much as an attempt to see just where he stands with whomever it is he meets. When you're alone for a good part of your childhood, you have time to think about things that would seem complex, but it's really only human instinct to want to belong, especially when you have no idea why you were shut out in the first place.rnrnBut enough of my craziness - thanks again I do so appreciate your input and interest
